Closed

Bank of Baroda’s application window for 1,100 regular officer vacancies under BOB/HRM/REC/ADVT/2026/17 closed on 24 September 2026. The intake comprises 1,000 Wealth Executives in junior management and 100 Credit Analysts in middle management. Unlike several recent Bank of Baroda drives, these are permanent officer-scale posts; the selection stages are still pending.

Wealth Executive

Wealth Executive is a JMG/S-I post with a pay scale of Rs 48,480 to 85,920. Applicants needed a graduate degree, a valid certification such as IC 38 from the Insurance Institute of India or NISM Series V-A, and at least two years of experience selling wealth products at a bank, NBFC, mutual fund or insurer. The age band was 22 to 32 years as on 1 September 2026. Postings are at branches in cities where the bank runs its wealth business.

Credit Analyst

The 100 posts are at MMG/S-II with a scale of Rs 64,820 to 93,960 in the Corporate and Institutional Credit vertical. Applicants had to be graduates who are chartered accountants with at least one year of banking experience in a scheduled commercial bank. The age band was 21 to 33 years.

Fee

The fee was Rs 850 including GST for general, EWS and OBC candidates, and Rs 175 for SC, ST, PwBD, ex-servicemen and women candidates, paid through the IBPS-hosted registration portal.

Selection from here

The bank screens applications against the eligibility and experience conditions first. It may hold an online test if the number of eligible candidates is large; the advertisement leaves this to the bank’s discretion. Candidates who clear that stage go through a psychometric assessment and then a group discussion or an interview, with the final list drawn from the combined marks. Bank of Baroda usually communicates the schedule by email and on its careers page two to three weeks before the event.

Notes

The eligibility cut-off for age and experience was 1 September 2026. Experience is counted only after the qualifying degree or certification, and the bank asks for certificates that mention the role and products handled. Candidates who applied for both posts will be considered separately for each.
